Traditionally: Historically, a bridal shower has been an all_gals fete of the elegant, ladylike variety__such as a luncheon, brunch, or tea__that celebrates the bride (with gifts and games) before her wedding day. You pick a theme and a DIY bar (make your own mimosa, waffles, or flower crowns, for example). And everyone gets the bride gifts__usually things from her bridal shower registry to help her start her new home, like kitchenware and linens. (See: Not a bachelorette party.)
Authentic Italian Bruschetta: Bruschetta is always a crowd_pleaser, and it's healthy to boot. Though many recipes tell you to lovingly assemble each hors d'oeuvres, if even that's too much last_minute work for you instead fill a basket with the toasted bread and place it next to the bowl of bruschetta. Guests will be happy to do it themselves!
